Merge PDFs without losing track of the page order

A simple workflow for assembling reports, receipts or application documents in your browser.

Plan the document

Gather the PDFs you want to combine, keeping an untouched copy of each source. Choose an order that makes sense to the reader: introduction, main content, then supporting material. The tool joins whole documents and preserves the page order within each one; it does not offer individual page rearrangement.

Assemble and verify

Open Merge PDF, select at least two documents and move files with the arrows. Remove anything that should not be included. Run the merge and download the resulting file. Open the result and check the first and last page of each section; a useful expected page count is the sum of the source page counts.

Understand the limitations

Pages are copied without first turning them into pictures. Interactive forms are flattened, so complete them before merging. Digital signatures, bookmarks and attachments are not preserved by this workflow. If a signed original must remain verifiable, keep and share it separately rather than treating the merged copy as an equivalent.

Handle large or protected files

Remove password protection before selecting a PDF. The combined input limit is 100 MB, but available memory can impose a lower practical limit on phones. For a failure, try fewer documents and check that each source opens normally. Closing the tab loses the working selection; it is not a cloud workspace.

Frequently asked questions

Can I change the PDF order?

Yes. Arrows move entire documents; pages within each document keep their order.

Is it free on mobile?

Yes. No account or payment. Use a recent browser; capacity depends on your device memory.

Are my files uploaded or tracked?

No. Documents are processed in your browser memory. No document uploads, no ads, no tracking cookies and no visitor analytics. The server receives the requests needed to serve the website.
